Decades of experience and international research have proved that bringing the family on board has multiple benefits and its very essential before, during and after the treatment of drug addiction. Families before coming on board don’t know what they don’t know hence due to their unawareness patient continues their drug addiction, patient benefits from the enabling or provocation of family members. Hence families are made aware and trained in a way that enablers and provokers become interveners for the recovery of drug addicts.  Due to these benefits, we involve the family very early and throughout the treatment program at Gulf Addiction Treatment Center to gain their support before, during and after the treatment.

Family Counseling/ Family Session

We at Gulf Addiction Treatment Center provide a minimum of 12 sessions to the family of inpatient drug addicts apart from other pre-treatment or post-treatment sessions this is because families prevention drug addiction afterward. These family sessions also heal strained relationships, address co-dependency issues, Enabling and provocation. These family prevention drug addiction counseling sessions unite the family to present a united front to the drug addict and use leverage for the recovery of their patient. Conclusively importance of family session in drug addiction treatment is immense and these sessions enhance the success of treatment many folds
